Farm accounts, in your pocket

Pannai keeps the money, the staff, the animals and the harvest of a working farm in one place — and sends the whole day to WhatsApp in one tap.

Your address is used only to tell you when Pannai opens for early access. No marketing, no sharing with anyone else.

The problem

The notebook works, until you need an answer

  • Scattered records

The day's entries live in a notebook, a few WhatsApp messages and your head.

  • Guessed numbers

You know roughly what's in the cash box — not what the last crop cycle actually cost.

  • Month-end surprises

Wages, advances and small loans blur together, so the total arrives as a shock.

  • Apps built for offices

They assume an accountant and a steady signal. A farm has neither.

A page from the notebook

  • Feed — cattle−3,200.00
  • Milk sale, morning+1,840.00
  • Advance — Murugan−2,000.00
  • Coconut load+9,500.00
  • Diesel, pump set−1,150.00
Where did it land??

In Pannai the same five entries take under a minute — and the closing balance is worked out for you.

The daily summary

One tap sends the whole day to WhatsApp

Opening balance, every income and expense, money lent out, closing balance and each wallet — formatted and ready to send to family, a partner or an accountant. It is how farm owners already share, so nobody has to learn anything new.

  • Any date

Today, yesterday or a day you pick.

  • Every wallet

Cash, bank and UPI closing balances.

  • Full entry list

    Nothing summarised away or hidden.

  • Plain text

Readable on the oldest phone in the family.

Exactly what lands in the family group.

Everything a working farm has to keep track of

Eight parts of the farm, one book. Each one records in a few taps and feeds the same balances, reports and daily summary.

Money

Income and expenses by category, in seconds. Cash box, bank and UPI wallets with balances derived, never guessed.

Outstanding and loans

Who owes you, what you owe, still unsettled. Loans, repayments and interest kept apart from running costs.

Payroll

Monthly and daily-wage staff, advances deducted at the next payment, absence deductions, per-person history.

Livestock

Animal groups with running counts — births, deaths, sales, purchases — and milk, eggs and other produce per group.

Orchard and crops

Plant groups, harvests and yield per product, stock on hand and spoilage, with yield checked against sales.

Sales

Multi-line orders with part payments, history by buyer, and revenue measured against a daily target.

Reports

Six-month income and expense trend, profit and loss by period, and an activity log of who recorded what.

Funds and projects

Earmark money toward a new pump or next season's seed, and see profit and loss for a single crop cycle.

In the field

Built for the field

Muddy hands, one bar of signal, a phone shared between people. Pannai is built around how a farm actually runs, not how an office does.

A username and a 6-digit PIN
No email address, no password reset. Workers log their own entries on their own phones, with roles set per farm.
One farm or many
Switch between properties; each keeps its own books, staff and categories, with no figures mixed together.
Works when the signal doesn't
Data is cached on the device, so the app opens and reads fine with no bars, and syncs when it returns.
Bilingual by default
English today, with the full interface available in regional Indian languages — switch whenever you like.

How it works

Three habits, learnt on the first day. Nothing to set up, no accountant to call.

  1. 01

    Pick your farm

Open the app and choose the property you're standing on.

  2. 02

    Record as you go

Wages, feed, a sale, a birth — a few seconds each.

  3. 03

    Share the day

One tap sends the full summary to WhatsApp.

Questions

Anything else you'd like to know before trying it on your own farm?

hello@pannai.in
Does it work without internet?

Yes. Your farm's data is kept on the phone, so the app opens and reads fine with no bars. New entries sync when the signal comes back.

Can my workers use it?

Yes. Each person gets a username and a 6-digit PIN — no email address needed — and you decide what they are allowed to see and do.

Is my data private?

Your books belong to your farm alone. Only the people you add to a farm can see it, and nothing is shared or sold to anyone else.

Does it handle more than one farm?

Yes. Switch between properties in the app; each farm keeps its own books, staff and categories, with no figures mixed together.

What does it cost?

Early access is free while Pannai is in testing. Pricing after that has not been decided yet.

Keep your farm's books the way you already work

Pannai is in testing with working farms. Leave your email and we'll tell you when early access opens.
